Ned is a proud Virginia public school educator who completed a 38-year career with Loudoun County Public Schools, the last 15 years as the Deputy Superintendent. He also spent 3 years as Director of Open Arms Christian Child Development Center in Ashburn, Virginia. Over the years, Ned has served on many boards, foundations and committees at the community, regional and state levels. He is passionate about providing quality educational opportunities for all students and the importance of working collaboratively in both the public and private sectors to better the lives of children everywhere. Ned has four adult children and five grandchildren. He treasures spending time with family and friends. He enjoys being active outdoors, lake life, and Bible study.
